Hi! I'm Aimee, and I've always dreamed of owning my own little business.

My love for crafting began with my Grandma, a Home Economics teacher, and my mom, who always shared stories of her patience and her insistence on perfect corners. From a young age, my mom taught me the basics of sewing: how to stitch on buttons, patch up socks, and make tablecloths from fabrics she collected on her travels. These early lessons sparked my love for sewing and creating.

As an engineer working a 9-5, I was looking for a creative (and mathy!) outlet. That's when I discovered quilting. I was so proud of my first quilt, but something felt missing. There was no label that truly reflected the personality and heart of the piece. I wanted that perfect "cherry on top," so I began searching for designs that matched my style. When I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, I decided to create my own.

In the winter of 2022, after two years of dreaming and designing, I began crafting the designs, selecting the fabrics, and refining the process. It’s been an incredibly fun journey, and I can’t wait to see where The Little Quilt goes!
